  4. Regional re-sellers for HVAc equipment

1994-2010 – The evolution

In September 1994, DD PROMOTERM was founded with a team of 3 employees, dealing with small capacity boilers. The company was developed rapidly, obtaining a $500.000 turnover at the end of 1995 and increasing its team at 6 employees. It was then that DD Promoterm signed his first important contract for setting up air conditioning equipments at MOBExpert Gallery.

1996: COMINSTAL GRUP was founded in order to administrate the import and the distribution of wall-hung boilers. At the end of 1996, the turnover of both companies exceeded 1.000.000 USD.

Between 1996-1997, DD Promoterm and Cominstal Group gained an important place on the heating and air conditioning market, by developing contracts over 300.000 USD, such as: Bucharest Financial Plaza, Hilton Hotel, C.O.R. Headquarters in Snagov, Knorr Factory.

1998: PROMOTERM MUNTENIA was created at Pitesti in order to develop DD Promoterm's business activity in a traditional industrial region formed of districts like Arges, Valcea and Sibiu.

1999: PROMOTERM DOBROGEA was created at Constanta, dealing with tenders of heating and air conditioning equipments for a tourist region in expansion. At the end of the year, the turnover of the 4 companies exceeded 4.000.000 USD.

2001: the new TERMO Center headquarters was inaugurated, with an area of 3.000 m2 (2.500 m2 for storage and 500 m2 for offices), included in an area of 8.000 m2, PROMOTERM’s property. At the end of the year, the group obtained a turnover of 6.000.000 Euro.

2002: PROMOTERM OLTENIA was founded at Craiova and TEHNOTERM at Bucharest. Tehnoterm's inauguration focused the activity on the domain of after-sale services, maintenance and intervention for heating and air conditioning equipment, for every brand existing on the specialised market.

2003: the Transylvanian market imposed the opening of 2 new commercial and technical companies: PROMOTERM CLUJ, at Cluj, and PROMOTERM BRASOV, at Brasov, which were immediately acknowledged by the regional clients. Therefore, at the end of 2003, Promoterm's turnover exceeded 7.000.000 Euro.

2004: A PROMOTERM office was opened at Targu Mures, in order to gain a better position on the Transylvanian market. The office was closed in 2009 and its activity transferred to Cluj.  At the end of the year, the group's turnover exceeded 8.000.000 Euro.

2005: PROMOTERM VEST was opened at Timisoara, in order to improve the company business on the West market. At the end of the year, the group’s turnover is 12.000.000 Euro.

2006: PROMOTERM Training Center was opened in Bucharest. The facility includes a testing laboratory with 5 boilers in operation and a training room for 30 persons. The group of companies had a net turnover of 14.500.000 Euro in 2006

2010:  Two Area Sales Managers were hired: West and Est

2009-2010: REBRANDING
